Was ist ein Zuchtwertindex?
Die Zuchtwerte in den einzelnen Zuchtwertmerkmalen können zusammengefasst werden. In der Schafzucht werden folgende Indices gebildet.
- Gesamtindex
- Fleisch
- Verfettung
Im Index werden die einzelnen Merkmale entsprechend ihrer Bedeutung im Zuchtziel gewichtet.
