Our technical guidelines recommend using Firefox. Access the application via:[[https://service.vit.de/deckmeldung/|https://service.vit.de/deckmeldung/]] Tip: Safe link in your browser bookmarks for quick and easy access. **serv.it DECKMELDUNG **browser login page appears. The breeding association will provide your individuell username. Your access key will be e-mailed to you by vit. Please note, that the capitalization of your password is important and use the button '**anmelden**' to login. The homepage will appear. **Homepage** The homepage displays all breeding associations you can report for online (this means for breeding associations, that provide serv.it DECKMELDUNG via vit to their stud farms). Please note, that the breeding association will assign a membership number to each stud farm. We will use this membership number to pair to your breeding notification. If a membership number changes (i.e. because of change of ownership), former breeding notifications will no longer appear. In that case, we can provide you new access information for your legacy data. Please contact us or your breeding association. Please select your breeding association and click on 'Erfassen', ' Übersicht', 'Deckstatistik' or 'Deckhengste verwalten'. **'Erfassen'** * Coverings for new mares can be registered **'Übersicht'** * Already registered coverings can be edited, amended, deleted or send to the breeding association. The edit mode can be accessed via the corresponding link in line of the mare concerned. **'Deckstatistik'** * A list of the number of all registered coverings per month. **'Deckhengste verwalten'** * Additional stallions, that are not registered and approved by the breeding association, can be added. **'Zurück zur Startseite'** * You will find a button to return to the homepage on the upper right corner of each page. **Register covering** With the application serv.it DECKMELDUNG you are able to submit breeding notifications online. The stud owner receives a ‚Breeding certificate‘ from the owner of the mare, which is provided by the breeding association. Please complete the form for your breeding notification using the available //Breeding certificate//: **Stute** * Please fill in the 15 characters long Universal Equine Life Number (UELN). As soon as it’s completed, all to the breeding association available information will be displayed: name, breed, date of birth, markings, name and breed of sire and dam. Please compare all information with your breeding certificate, to ensure the correct UELN has been used. * **Mare unknown?**If through entering of UELN no information is provided, your mare is not registered for this stud book. In this case, please complete all input fields of the mare description. **Züchter** * Please enter the 6-characters long person-ID-number of the owner of the mare. The owner of the mare equals the breeder of the foal. As soon as 6 items are completed, the persons adress provided by the breeding association is displayed. If a membership number isn’t recognised by the association, the following statement will appear: „Mitgliedsnummer für anderen Verband registriert. Anschrift in Züchterbeschreibung eingeben!“ * **No breeder-membership-nr.?**(i.e. if the former mare owner is listed on the breeding certificate). Just leave the field „Züchter-Mitglieds-Nr.“ empty and fill in the remaining input fields: surname, name, street adress, zip code, city and country. **Deckschein-Nr.** * The breeding certificate-number field is preset, so only 5 digits of the register number need to be entered. **If you do not have a breeding certificate, please contact your responsible breeding association. The breeding certificate number is going to be converted to the foals UELN and is uniquely assigned, only once!** * The breeding certificate number is configuered as follows: i.e. DE 4 VB VB 34567 22 * Breeding association = DE 4 (Verbandschlüsselnr.) * Registration number = 34567 * Breeding year = 22 * Few associations have a determination routine integrated (**Not all of them! **Please check with your breeding association) * This means the input field is optional, not mandatory. * If no breeding certificate number is entered, it is determined by the expected foal of the mare in the matching breeding year. * If no foal is found in the matching breeding year, a breeding certificate number with the next free sequential number is being issued. * The determination of the breeding certificate number is happening automatically through the release of the notification to the breeding association. //All//coverings of a mare are to be recorded in the chart with the stallion (Hengst), the manner of covering (Deckart) and date of covering (Deckdatum). //**Hengst**// * The, by the breeding association for the stud owner registered stallions are displayed in the drop-down box with name and UELN. Through clicking on the functional arrow the selection box is opened. Alternatively you can type in the beginning of the stallions name or you can flip through via the arrow button on your keyboard to select. Is a stallion missing from the list? See 'Deckhengste verwalten'. **Deckart****** * The available manners of covering a displayed in the drop-down box (alternatively type in the first letter of the manner of coveringyou like to select). It is also possible to select through using the arrow buttons on your keyboard. **Deckdatum****** * For every breeding notification a date of covering is being recorded. For field breeding it’s possible to enter a from – to date. The input of the date is possible as follows: **TTMMJJ ‚TT.MM.JJ, TTMMJJJJ, TT.MM.JJJJ** or **heute **(today). With **further coverings** you proceed as described above in the next line. Does a mare have more than four inseminations, 5-8 optional entry lines will appear as soon as the fourth line is completed. If all fields are filled out, please press the button „**Speichern**“ to safe. If the storage is successfull, a green message appears, if it’s faulty a red message with error notes is shown. The recorded data is available for further adjustments. If you click the button '**Neue Deckmeldung erfassen**', you remain on the page, all fields are cleared and you can enter the next breeding notification. A registered breeding notification (which is not released yet) can be deleted by pressing the button '**Löschen und zur Übersicht**'. With the button '**Abbrechen und zur Übersicht**' you’re directed to a list of all coverings currently registered for the breeding association. After saving, the button '**Vorläufiger Deckbeleg**' enables you to create a breeding receipt for not yet authorised breeding notifications. **Übersicht****** In overview all mares with their collected covering information are listed. Is there more than one covering registered to a mare, only the latest one is displayed. Mare-information and breeder-information are shown in italics. **'Neue Deckmeldung erfassen'****** * With this button you are able to navigate directly to registration of breeding notification without a detour through the homepage. **Deckbeleg 'bearbeiten'****** * With this link, all registered information about each covering can be viewed, edited, amended or deleted. **Deckbeleg 'freigeben'****** * As soon as all coverings to a mare are registered, the breeding notification can be provided to the breeding association via this link. **Afterwards the breeding notification can’t be altered by the stud owner**, which means the function '**bearbeiten**' is not available anymore. On the overview page the new function 'anzeigen' appears. **Deckbeleg 'anzeigen'****** * To view and print a breeding receipt, it is required to first release the breeding notification to the breeding association. When you click on the link, the breeding receipt is opened in Adobe Reader, where it can be viewed and printed. The stud owner can provide this receipt with all neccessary informations to the owner of the mare.** Attention:** The Information, that is entered in 'Züchter‘ and has not been determined via membership number, will be used as adress in you breeding receipt. **'Alle markieren'/ 'Markierte freigeben'****** * With the buttons '**Alle markieren**‘ and '**Markierte freigeben**' you can select several breeding notifications at once and provide them to the breeding association. **'Deckliste anzeigen'****** * With this button you can view all released coverings for each stallion. The list is sorted by stallion and within each stallion by name of the breeder. User entered information is presented last in italics. With the button '**Deckliste als PDF erstellen**' a list of all coverings is created via Adobe Reader (statistics and association logo) where it can be printed from. **'Übersicht als PDF erstellen'****** * With this button you can create an Adobe Reader document with the overview to print on site. The stud owner can be provided with all coverings to each mare per year and breeding association. **Deckstatistik****** This function lists all coverings per month and can be viewed and printed via Adobe Reader. Each mare is only counted once – Is the stallion switched, the mare will be counted for the latest stallion. **Deckhengste verwalten****** To register additional stallions just click on '**Deckhengste verwalten**' in the line oft he breeding association on the homepage. A list of all stallions for the stud owner and respective breeding association is viewed. At the end of the list stallions can be deleted. To add a new stallion click on ‚**Neue Hengst-Lebensnummer**‘ and fill in it’s 15-character long UELN. To safe click on '**Hinzufügen**'. The stallion is listed now and sorted alphabetically. **Deadline****** Per service year registration- and release-functionalities can be used from 01.12. of the previous year until 31.12. of the breeding year. **Logout****** If you want to leave the application, please click on the button '**Abmeldung**' in the upper right corner of your page.
